Amazon and Walmart are two major players in the e-commerce industry, and their fierce price competition has significantly influenced the online retail landscape. From the graph, we see out of the eight departments, the total in Sports & Outdoors and that in Home, Furniture & Appliances from Walmart are smaller than those from Amazon. If you are a volume buyer, shopping in Sports & Outdoors and Home, Furniture & Appliances in Walmart cost less than Amazon. However, for the other departments, shopping on Amazon costs less.
